Apart from the Old Firm of Celtic and Rangers, Aberdeen FC have been Scotland's most successful club in recent decades, so football tickets for their home matches at Pittodrie Stadium are always in demand.
But you can secure a place in this historic venue by logging on to Ticket4Football.com – the dedicated football tickets website.
Nicknamed the Dons, Aberdeen were formed in 1903 from the amalgamation of three local clubs.

From the start their home ground was at Pittodrie, just a few hundred yards from the North Sea coast. And since being promoted to the top Scottish league in 1905 they have never been relegated.

The club's first major trophy came in 1947 when they achieved the first of their seven Scottish Cup wins. The last of these came in 1990 when they defeated Celtic on penalties in the first Scottish Cup Final to be decided on spot kicks. Ironically, in 1970-71 Aberdeen had been the first club to lose a European tie on penalties, when Honved knocked them out of the Cup Winners' Cup.

The Dons won the first of four league titles in 1955 but their three other championship successes came between 1980 and 1985 when they were managed by Sir Alex Ferguson, who left the club in 1986 to take charge of Manchester United.
Under the leadership of "Fergie", Aberdeen also won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1983, defeating Real Madrid in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The following season they beat German side Hamburg to clinch the European Super Cup. Aberdeen's last trophy win came in 1996 when they hoisted the Scottish League Cup.

Their most famous players include George Hamilton, Joe Harper, Martin Buchan, Willie Miller, Alex McLeish and Gordon Strachan.
The current Aberdeen squad includes players from Nigeria (Sone Aluko), Montenegro (Nikola Vujadinovic), Togo (Yoann Folly) and Northern Ireland (Josh Magennis).

In 1937 an incredible 146,433 supporters packed into Hampden Park in Glasgow to watch Aberdeen play Celtic in the Scottish Cup Final, a European record crowd for a club match.
The highest attendance recorded at Pittodrie is 45,061 for a cup tie against Hearts in 1954. Currently the stadium's capacity is limited to 21,600.
