Everton

The Toffees are England's second longest serving top flight side. Their last relegation came in the 1950-51 campaign. Their demotion was sealed with a thumping 6-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday and it took until 1954 for Everton to gain promotion. So they will try and get the better of the arch enemies of Sheffield United which could be the game where they get demoted to the Championship.

It will also be Everton's last game at Goodison Park which has been the home of Everton since 1892 and has an all seated capacity of 39,414. Goodison Park has also hosted the most top flight games than any other stadium in England. Sheffield United

Sheffield United have suffered the joint earliest relegation from the Premier League in the 2020-21 season. They were founded in 1889 and they are nicknamed the blades due to their history of cutlery production. The team have played home games at Bramall Lane since their formation. Their main rivals are Sheffield Wednesday which they contest the Steel city derby with. They are also the last team to relegate Everton, Sheffield United will try and do the same by making history and relegating Everton. We will have to wait and see how the league sits at this stage of the season to see if they can stay in the Premier League by beating Everton.

Prediction

Everton should have enough quality to get the better of their rivals by beating them comfortably and even relegating them. Don't forget to buy your tickets.
